The Birthday Massacre
Genre: Rock / New Wave / Synthpop
The Birthday Massacre successfully blend their style of haunting and melodic synths together with brutal hard-rock riffs. Formed in 1999, the Toronto band has been bringing it's Tim Burton-esque style and sensibilites to a discerning audience for over a decade. From the melancholic and wistful, to the haunting and powerful, their songs evoke a range of moods that captivate the listener unlike most others can.

i dont like this kind of musick but your blog is nice, i hope you will post other styles too!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, I'm planning on posting more than just a few different genres. If there's one genre that I may keep coming back to is "Experimental", as I'm sure I'll find some pretty weird stuff there. I'd like to try and uncover some lesser-known genres along the way as well, so long as what I find is listenable (to me at least).
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty glad to find stuff other than mainstream music.
ReplyDeleteMore good tunes, keep it up!
