The Birthday Massacre

Genre: Rock / New Wave / Synthpop

The Birthday Massacre successfully blend their style of haunting and melodic synths together with brutal hard-rock riffs. Formed in 1999, the Toronto band has been bringing it's Tim Burton-esque style and sensibilites to a discerning audience for over a decade. From the melancholic and wistful, to the haunting and powerful, their songs evoke a range of moods that captivate the listener unlike most others can.

  3. Thanks! Yeah, I'm planning on posting more than just a few different genres. If there's one genre that I may keep coming back to is "Experimental", as I'm sure I'll find some pretty weird stuff there. I'd like to try and uncover some lesser-known genres along the way as well, so long as what I find is listenable (to me at least).

  11. Yeah, it took a little longer than I would have liked to get another post out there. I'll try to make a new post every other day if not every day.
